What do you get when you cross a legendary British super-car company, and a Milan based, Italian design company, the answer is the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept.

To look at, it’s immensely impressive. It has the traditional look of an Aston but you can see the Italian influences, the extra flamboyance of the double-bubble roof, and the rear of the car is as sexy as you would expect from the Italians imagination.

The Aston’s interior is also defined by the trademark ‘Z’ quilt pattern stitch used on the seat and door panels, as well as the celebrated Zagato ‘Z’ embossed on headrests and stitched into the centre console.

The engine is a mighty 6-litre V12, which has been tuned to 592 BHP, the driving performance has also been enhanced to match the extra performance, in a bid to make it the ultimate drivers Aston. The bodywork of the car is of course made entirely of carbon fibre.

Aston Martin and Zagato, have a history stretching back to the 1960’s, with the launch of the DB4 GT Zagato and most recently in 2011 the V12 Vantage Zagato.
If this car gets made it will be in seriously low numbers with a price tag to match.

Aston Martin Executive Vice President, Marek Reichman, said “Over the years, we have developed and refined our own design language and we have always gone that little bit further with our special series cars like the Aston Martin Vulcan.”

“We pride ourselves on our strong partnership and the creation of the Vanquish Zagato Concept was a true shared experience,” says Zagato’s CEO, Andrea Zagato.
